Juliana is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience across multiple legal disciplines, specializing in criminal law, civil rights, and municipal matters. Before joining the firm, she served as an Assistant Solicitor for the City of Pittsburgh, where she practiced municipal law and federal civil rights litigation. Her expertise spans federal and state motion practice, oral advocacy, negotiations, trial proceedings, and leading comprehensive internal investigations.
Previously, Juliana was an Assistant Prosecutor and Supervisor of the Juvenile Division at the Lake County, Ohio Prosecutor’s Office. In these roles, she managed a broad range of criminal, delinquency, and abuse, neglect, and dependency cases—from initial charges through sentencing and probation violation hearings. As Supervisor, she was responsible for training new prosecutors in all aspects of criminal investigation and litigation while overseeing highly sensitive cases.
Earlier in her career, Juliana honed her skills in civil litigation and business transactions as an associate at a full-service law firm in Lake County, Ohio. Her diverse legal background and multiple bar admissions enable her to offer strategic counsel across a wide array of legal matters and jurisdictions.
Juliana earned her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014 and her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2017, graduating with a Certificate of Concentration in Criminal Law with Honors. During law school, she gained invaluable hands-on experience through externships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio, the United States Coast Guard Legal Office for the Ninth District, and the Cuyahoga County Public Defender’s Office. She also conducted legal research as an assistant focused on the Federal Rules of Evidence. As an undergraduate, she interned for the Honorable Nora Barry Fischer, District Judge for the Western District of Pennsylvania, gaining firsthand insight into judicial proceedings.
