PARTNER

Wes represents individuals and businesses in high-stakes criminal, regulatory, and civil matters.  His practice focuses on white collar defense and government enforcement, including allegations of fraud, financial and healthcare crimes, and regulatory violations.  He also regularly advises clients facing grand jury investigations, False Claims Act inquiries, internal investigations, and complex civil and administrative proceedings.

Wes has tried dozens of cases in federal and state courts, arbitration panels, and administrative tribunals—on both sides of the aisle. Before entering private practice, he served as a federal prosecutor in the Central District of California (Los Angeles), where he handled a wide range of matters including public corruption, civil rights violations, fraud, and narcotics and firearms offenses.  With over a decade in government service, Wes offers deep insight into how enforcement agencies investigate and prosecute cases. He leverages that experience to represent clients in matters involving nearly every major federal and state enforcement body, including the DOJ, FBI, IRS, DEA, EPA, HHS, Secret Service, and state attorneys general and regulatory agencies.

Wes brings a disciplined and efficient approach to litigation—focusing quickly on the core issues, avoiding unnecessary distractions, and delivering strategic, cost-effective results. Clients value his ability to cut through complexity and offer clear, candid guidance in challenging and high-pressure situations. His experience across jurisdictions and forums enables him to support clients facing a broad spectrum of legal challenges, both as lead and local counsel.

Earlier in his career, Wes served as an officer in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, where he advised military commanders and tried cases across Korea, Germany, the United States, and Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Wes is a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Allegheny County Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He lives in Westmoreland County with his wife and three daughters.
