Comber Miller LLC, is a Pittsburgh-based law firm representing international, national, and local clients in a variety of practice areas, including white collar criminal and civil enforcement defense, internal investigations, mediation/arbitration matters, and qui tam actions.
We have an opportunity for an associate to assume an important role in our government investigations/white-collar defense practice–a preeminent practice representing companies and their officers and directors in internal and government investigations at the federal and state levels, and related litigation. This position includes direct contact with clients and opposing counsel. Our associates work closely with all attorneys and staff on all types of matters, so we value collegiality and strong legal foundations – research, writing, analysis – that can be put to use in a variety of complex and meaningful cases.
Ideal candidates will have 3-7 years of experience in government investigations/white collar defense. We are seeking candidates with the following attributes: driven and hard-working; passionate about defending individuals and companies in government and internal investigation; attention to detail; superior analytical and writing skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing complex, sensitive matters and sophisticated clients. Experience as a federal judicial law clerk or as an Assistant US Attorney strongly preferred.
